A Modern Mermaid

Over Winter already and once again falling for beautiful, desert-island inspired editorials as a result. British Vogue are teasing us already with this shimmering, sun-drenched shoot featuring Doutzen Kroes in its January issue.

BOYS

As a HUGE fan of Lords of Dogtown, Heidi Slimane's photography has got be hooked....(or maybe it's just they're pretty faces).

Check out the bottom pretty face on BBC soon-he's set to play Boy George in the channel's 80s season.
Ahhh, pretty and talented...

Lula

Lula mag always has the prettiest, dreamiest editorials...Isn't this the most feminine take on tailoring and bow ties you've ever seen?

Photography by Sophie Delaporte and styled by Ondine Azoulay.

Love for Marc

Wow, it has been a while.  Since starting my new job on the 4th I've been super lazy and it's literally been a cycle of work followed by crashing out on the sofa...However, I am determined to drag myself out of my tv coma and start posting again, purely because it means I have an excuse to spend long periods of time going cross eyed in front of my laptop, finding amazing blogs, cool images and new photographers.  So here is my latest find, a certain Marc Pilaro...I have no idea if I am really late findign out about this guy or if he's still relatively unknown but either or, I am loving his ediotrials.  Of course, it helps that he's done an editorial one
faves, Dree Hemingway, but I also love his shots of Missy Rayder and Sofia and Yana.  Here's a few that'll hopefully get you going too.  Check out his Site here if you want more..

Oh Olins

Shot by Josh Olins, this photo just shouts 1999...only that CK t-shirt is a million times more cool when photographed by the infallible Mr Olins.  Don't no what it is about this pic but something really draws you in.

Lev Efimov

Posted so many but there are just too many amazing shots to choose from...

I'm cold...

...and want to be hot, so this editorial by Laurie Bartley for Vogue Nippon in 2008 makes me both wildly jealous and whimsical.  Karlie Kloss looks amazing but it's not so much the styling I love but more the slightly tacky, overcrowded beach location complete with inflatable rubber rings and plaid sun lounger cushions.

David Shama

Found this story shot by david Shama on my new great blog find Little Plastic Horses and I am in love with it...Favoruite shot is second from the bottom.  It's so simple there's almost nothing to it but just love the vibe of it.  It also showcases by favourite Chloe booties (I jsut snapped up Office's copy cat pair the other day) which makes the story even more perfect.
